The latest release from Jealous Of The Birds is taken from her upcoming Wisdom Teeth EP (whose 1^st of February release date draws ever closer), and continues on in the same fresh vein as their previous release, ‘Marrow’. The inspiration for ‘Blue Eyes’ comes from there being "something powerful to [Naomi Hamilton] about femininity being self-reflexive as opposed to being expressed through the male gaze". The heavier instrumentation and poppy vocal melodies are reflected in the strange, yet upliftingly fun, Dublin-shot music video that accompanies the tune.
